Relay For Life

As the Event Experience Chair for London Central’s Relay For Life, I played a key role in leading one of the school’s most impactful charity events. Our team successfully raised over $40,000 for the Canadian Cancer Society, uniting students, staff, and community members in support of cancer research.

In my role, I oversaw several subcommittees, mentored student leads, and ensured every element of the event—from entertainment and activities to the four key ceremonies—ran smoothly and meaningfully. My focus was on creating a powerful, emotionally resonant experience that honored survivors, remembered those lost, and inspired participants to take action.

From securing sponsorships to managing logistics, I worked to ensure that the event wasn’t just successful, but unforgettable. Relay For Life was more than a fundraiser—it was a movement of hope, and I’m proud to have helped lead it.
