Keynote Speaker
I was honored to serve as the keynote speaker at Gold Fever, a school-wide orientation conference designed to support grade 6, 7, and 8 students in their transition to high school. In front of hundreds of students and educators, I shared my personal story of growth, resilience, and transformation—from struggling academically and personally in early high school to becoming a leader, entrepreneur, and advocate for change.
My speech, titled “Be the Person YOU Want to Be”, focused on encouraging students to embrace authenticity, take ownership of their futures, and realize that no path is ever set in stone. I spoke openly about my own journey, including my decision to leave behind destructive habits and reinvent myself through leadership, sobriety, and service.
This was one of the most meaningful experiences of my leadership journey, and it reminded me just how powerful our stories can be in helping others find strength in their own.
